Removal of floor tiles and mortar bed - an electric
jack hammer is recommended.
- This makes the job much easier; if you hire one, back breaking work will be
eliminated.
- Before using the jack hammer, cover the shower drainage outlet with some tape
as this prevents rubble from falling into the drainage system.
- After the floor tiles and mortar bed have been removed,
you will see what type of membrane was used previously ..... if any !
